Did you know the term "lovebird" isn't just a sweet nickname for newlyweds? It actually refers to the genus Agapornis, a small group of parrots known for their long-term pair bonds and the immense amount of time they spend sitting close together on branches.
The ancient Greeks even associated birds with the gods of love. Throughout history, these creatures have come to symbolize:

*** Affection: The constant grooming and "billing" (beak-to-beak contact) that mirrors human tenderness.

Designing Around the Duo
Our "Lovebirds" collection features a stunning central panel where two birds are perched together amidst a flourish of florals. Whether you prefer the Serene Blue palette—perfect for a classic mantel display—or the Blushing Pink and Sage colorway for a more contemporary bedroom feel, the focus remains on the connection between the two figures.

While the fabric sets the stage, the quilting brings the "heirloom" quality to life. For these pieces, we didn't want standard edge-to-edge swirls. Instead, we went with a bespoke heart-centric design.

*** The "Secret" Hearts: Look closely at the background fill! We used a micro-stippling technique that hides tiny, whimsical hearts within the negative space. It’s a subtle "I love you" hidden in every square inch.
*** Swirling Romance: To connect the floral panels, we utilized a continuous line of swirling vines that occasionally "bloom" into heart shapes, ensuring the theme is cohesive from edge to binding.
