Well it’s been a very busy end of year. Moving in the middle of 2021 was not a fun time with all the materials, supplies, and equipment needing to be packed, crated and moved. However, now we are in our new home and ready for 2022 to be the best yet!
I have been busy creating Valentine’s Day gifts for everyone. I finished many of the dishtowels and pillows, and am waiting on additional supplies to create conversation hearts to be embroidered on a heart shaped pillow. I don’t have a favorite; rather, many of the towels are fun and complement one another. I do enjoy the Love Bugs Hand towel (see https://desisthreads.com/products/love-bugs-kitchen-towel), mainly because I like lady bugs. They remind me of Francis the Man Bug on “It’s a Bugs Life.” They do symbolize good luck and prosperity so the more the merrier in my book.
In between client orders and my crafts for the web site, I’ve also been working on goals for the year. It’s important to know where one wants to end up in order to plan appropriately. Sometimes we end up where we would like to be, but more than likely we need to plan for it. I encourage everyone to create goals for them selves and work to accomplish them. Take stock at the end of the week. What did you do to accomplish the goal? Are you closer to where you want to be? If not, why not? If so, then keep up the good work.
